Skype video to HDTV
How do I get skype to display on a HDTV? Use a dvi-hdmi cable? Use a HD video card then direct to hdmi on the TV? What happens to the sound --- does it come through the pc speakers?
Is it a better picture using an hdtv or just a decent lcd monitor?

I dont know if it's possible to view this on a TV let alone a HD TV unless you have the web cam
and how the Skype interface is viewed on your desktop.
What you see on your desktop can be displayed on the TV and yes the audio is used from the PC speakers out to audio in on the TV, there is a few different methods to connect your PC to the TV
What video card do you have with TV out?
For High Quality Video calls you will need a high quality video webcam and software, a dual-core processor computer and a fast broadband connection (384 kbps).

You can use a decent LCD monitor as well.
You can also use a very good LCD TV as your default monitor
just have an electrician convert the plugs to suit your PC. It wokrs very well
