Webex is an Online Meeting tool with options of Sharing Presentations or Desktops or even Interactive sessions.

>> I have to install webex for a demonstration laptop

No need to install Webex for the demo..
When your Admins or other persons have scheduled a Webex Meeting online, it would give you a meeting URL. If you enter that URL, it would check your System for meeting pre-requisites and guide you on the actions required.. ( Say Audio or Speaker problem like that or No Microphones detected in your system)..

Webex doesn't require any such installers..
Hope this helps

Thank you for the information.

I was not clear in the question I can see as I reread it. I was referring to installation of webex on the server that I will be running on the laptop using VM Workstation. How to get the app installed there.

Webex doesn't require a separate installation. It would guide you with the required installation as given below:

1. You would be provided or receiving  a Meeting URL.
2. Just login to the URL providing Credentials received in that mail itself.
3. It would do a System Check.
4. If required it would ask you to do some Speaker & Microphone related configurations along with some default installations..
5. Do as guided and you are done with the installation.
