I have a organisation with a HQ Site (running GroupWise) and little Remote site (running MS Exchange).
The HQ has CompanyName.com and the Remote site has CompanyNameCountry.com as their domains.
All users have username@CompanyName.com as their email address. The Remote server (Exchange) uses the POP3 Connector to fetch the email from the HQ server.
We would like Groupwise server to just have an alias for the external users like:
user23@CompanyName.com -> user23@CompanNameCountry.c
om
This way email is redirected immediately from HQ server when it arrives, instead for remote server having to regularly go and enpty mailboxes. I know how this is done easily in Exchange, but have no idea with GroupWise and cannot get the HQ people to understand what we want. Can it be done in GW and what are the steps?
