This is a Windows XP Pro SP2 computer running GroupWise client 7e.
When I go to the sent folder to see if an email has been opened, etc. by someone - as I have for years - I get a pop-up that tells me the following:
"File Download - Security Warning"
"Do you want to save this file or find a program online to open it?"
The file is the usual .tmp file that GroupWise uses in this case.
There was normally no File Association with .tmp files in Windows as they are used by many programs. I believe that is still the case. I have no association as such in my Folder Options.
I know this is most likely a Windows issue and as I am writing this I am thinking perhaps I should have posted this in a different area (please let me know if that is the case).
This a Dell 4700 P4 machine with 2GBs of RAM and plenty of hard drive. I am running Symantec Corporate Antivirus and not much else to speak of . . .
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
