How to lock down the views (toolbars) in the GroupWise Client

A lot of users mistakenly change their available views in GroupWise, by accident and we must put the settings back to how they were before.

IS there a way to lock down the settings, for how the GroupWise cient will look to the users?

Umm.... I don't *think* so.

If there is, it will be in the Security tab of the Post Office configuration in the GroupWise View under ConsoleOne. I don't have a GroupWise-enabled ConsoleOne handy, but that's where you can lock down the client. I don't recall that level of granularity, however.

Have you looked at the online GroupWise docs? http://www.novell.com/documentation

I poked around the GroupWise v6.5 documentation, specifically the Administration Guide and the Client chapter therein (near the end).

I don't see where you can do much more than disable HTML View. I didn't think it had that level of granularity.

I can tell you that the Views are stored in the User DB (in OFUSER). So if someone seriously hosed up their Views, you could restore their User DB from backup. You'd probably need to do a Structural Rebuild on their mailbox to get all their message links back.
