How to access offlined Novell Groupwise Email Data

Hi I am a novice to Novell Groupwise 6.5.
 I have been told that the companies Administrator has Backup and Archived the Users email from within Groupwise.
1) How can be accessed (not restoring)?
2) I need to have access to the Groupwise Storage in *.eml or *.mbox format
3) Does the Storage have to be "re-attached" or "re-mounted" ?
