Thanks. I will go ahead with it then.

Browse All TopicsI am prepping for a Groupwise 7.02 to 8.02. One of the steps the installation pdf suggests is to update the Java Virtual Maching (JVM) to 1.5.11 or later. When I open my consoleone (Help-About Consoleone) on my desktop that I use daily, it shows that I have ver. 1.3.6h installed along with JDK 1.42 JVM 1.4.2_13.
How do I get this updated. I have tried downloading and installing the latest JAVA software along with jdkk-6u14-windows-i586 from the Sun site but it does not change the version listed under Consoleone's "help-about consoleone".
Thanks for any advice.

ConsoleOne installs its own Java runtime during installation, in the jre folder.
I've read the document you are talking about and I'm not sure why it says that you need that version, given that it is not distributed with that version. I can tell you that I have the 1.6 version of Java installed on my workstation, my ConsoleOne reports the 1.4 version, and my ConsoleOne works as-is. I can also tell you that replacing the 1.4 version with a later one in the ConsoleOne folder immediately breaks ConsoleOne.
So if you have the latest JVM installed on your computer and ConsoleOne is working, I'd say you are probably good.
