I solved the problem, it was GroupWise Messenger presence within GroupWIse client that was causing freeze ups. Disabling that on domain level took care of a problem.

Browse All TopicsI just migrated to GroupWise 8.0hp on Linux from Netware. Over the summer when I upgraded the system worked really well. Now that my teachers are back and the load on the servers is high, a lot of complaining about client freezing displaying messages.
I have experienced the same thing. Clicking through e-mails randomly freezes the client for about 10-15 seconds. Looking at the PO consoles I see absolutely no errors. Also the load on the server isn't very high, about 20-30%. The problem with the client freezing can be replicated on any user and/or Post Office, so it seems it's across the whole system.
We are running a vmware environment.

Does this problem happen every time, or only now and then? Does it seem to be more prevalent shortly after logging in than later on?
