Outlook Express:- Receipients getting att???.htm attachment

To whom it may concern,

Recently, my friend faced a problem in getting att???.htm attachment which is a complete replica of the body of the message whenever senders send email to him.
Despite ensuring Tools->Options->Security Tab->Uncheck/Disable "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus; the problem persist.

Wonder if anyone out there will be able to assist?

Emailing Tools used: Outlook Express 6.0

This is caused by Outlook Express not opening html e-mails.

Have you downloaded the latest patches and updates for Internet Explorer and your Operaing System from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com ?
