I want to use task as a means for people to submit technical requests, but I have a list of requests that I'd like to add to the technical mailbox tasks as if I was the person who reqested the task, so that they get the feed back on the tasks as they are changed/completed etc.
The only whay I can currently see how to do this is to open their mail box and create the task for them, but I need to be able to create tasks for lots of different people and do not want to have to open each persons mailbox each time I want to create a task for them.
Is there a way I can open a task form and add the from box as well as the to box? would this work?
Thanks In advance

This can be done in the same way that you can send email from a person by having access to their account.
Open up a new task, within this window, click on Tools - Forms - Design this form
This will open up a number of tabs, click on p.2 (you can rename this later) a field chooser will appear, click on the drop down option for all mail fields and choose the "From" field.
Now save the form. I would recommend doing a Save As and putting it in your template file so you keep the original version Tasks template and have this one when you need it
Using this new template you can now create tasks, assign them to others and change the From
(Note the above is based on Outlook 2003)
