Its a POP3 account
Another strange thing was that she could REPLY to a message sent to her, but was unable to compose her own message to the same user.
I'm not sure if she can still do this, (user is gone for the day, i'll check more on it tommorrow)
I'll post more tommorrow once I get a good chance to look at the various setting (i just had a quick glance at it before, then went to a previous project)
i'll update with more info.
after a bit of experimentation, here's what I've found so far.
She can recieve messages fine.
She can reply to messages by hitting the reply button fine.
She can now email message when she types the address just fine.
She CANNOT send a message to a contact which is selected from her addressbook.
If she types the address of the contact, she can send it with no problems, just can't select them from the address book.
I've verified the addresses, they're all correct (if she copies and pastes the address it works)
Any thoughts?
Andrew
Finally found a solution,
I have no idea why this works, but it does
If you change the TYPE, under the contact information to say SMTP, it works fine.

Using POP3 or Exchange server? ystem32\dr ivers\etc
Check your HOSTS/LMHOSTS files located in
Start->Run->%systemroot%\s
and see if there are any bogus entries there...
