Browse All TopicsHow do I add in image as part of signature in outlook express?
1. I've done a html page with an image inserted. Both html and image saved in the same folder.
2. In OE, I click on Tools/Options/Signatures and added the signature from there in the File field.
3. When I create/reply/forward email, the signature does show up but the image is not inserted.
4. A check on the Properties of the image refers to the correct path but it does not show the image at all.
5. I had to re-insert the image in the email itself.
Is there a solution to this?
Also, after sending to few of my web-based email account, the image appears except for hotmail.
Why is that so?
Quick fix needed asap. TQ

Try this:
Go into Outlook Express, and go to tools, options, the Send tab, under Mail Sending Format, click HTML settings, the put a checkmark in "Send pictures with messages". Ok out of everything and close and reopen Outlook Express and test. Sounds to me like it's sending a reference to the picture rather than the picture itself.

I've got the solution. None of the above worx for my case but thanks for all the assistance anyway.
The solution is this.
1. get the html file and graphic file and put into c:/
2. in the html file, the graphic reference should be <img src="c:/nameofimage.jpg">
3. go to tools > options > signatures > add the html signature
4. create new email > should be able to see the signature
thanks once again.
