There are too many public folders dialogs open???

Hi,

Today I got this funny error which Microsoft says this link -> http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q240697 would fix which it doesn't.
Issue is clicking "Find"/"Search" in Outlook 2000 on IMAP folders. Doing the local .pst folders works fine. Full error reads like :

There are too many Find Public Folders dialogs open. You must close them in order to use the Advanced Find. Do you want to close them now?
Yes / No

If I click yes, nothing much happens.Very irritating. Any ideas?
I have rebooted, made sure only one instance of Outlook is running etc.
All service packs are updated etc.

Thanks
Chris

ASKER

Hello,

I found the fix. You have to remove the IMAP account and then add it again. I assume it rebuilds all the links and thus resolves the error.

Cheers,

Chris
