Hello, I had to create a new profile for a user. In her old profile she had several contact lists that we configured for her so she could update her's and the President's at the same time. Long story.
Anyway not that she has a new profile all these configuration settings for her contact list/lists have been lost. It back to the way it was. My question is, is there a pst file or something that this is stored in? Obviously it wasn't stored on the exchange server. Is it stored locally somewhere? can i copy it over from her old profile somehow. I don't want to reinvent the wheel again.

Have you tried to open the old .pst? Search for all the *.pst and note the location. Look for the dates that seem closest to your new profile.
Then try and open from outlook by file, open, outlook data file, and search to the above noted directory.
If you find it and could open it, then you could export just the contacts to a new pst, import them back in.

Well if she was updating the presidents contacts and the same time...maybe she just had access to his contacts. Try this in Outlook.
Right click where it says Mailbox -(user's name). Then go to properties. Then click Advanced BUTTON the the Advanced TAB. Then where it says open these additional mailboxes choose the President's.
