Greetings, zephyr_hex.
If I'm reading Mailnavigator's information correctly it requires Outlook to be installed on the computer to read the PST file. If Outlook is on the PC, then why not use it to look at the PST file rather than using another tool? I just don't see the point.

There is no free one that I know of, but Outlook seems to do a fine job.
Mailnavigator is a good PST viewer but not free.
