Browse All TopicsI have a few users that have rights to group mailboxes. Those group
mailboxes are added to their outlook profile and in their folder view.
If I turn on the following setting:
Tools >> Email Options >> Advance Email Options >> "In Folders Other
than the Inbox, save replies with original message"
I am able to save replies in subfoldes on my inbox or calendar and even
PST. This setting does not work for delegated mailboxes. The mail
that is sent from those secondary boxes still shows up in the user's
sent items.
I think this is how it is supposed to work but I wanted to check on the
board just to confirm.
Thanks
Mike

Hi mkline71,
Yes, that's the way it's designed to operate. Even though you may be sending on behalf of someone else you are sending through your account, not the other person's account. Therefore the sent item goes in your sent items, after all you sent it, not the other person's.
Cheers!
