With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Use Microsoft Word 2003 tick mark not staying ticked

I am using addbranding (addbranding.com) and it used to work fine for outlook 2003.
When I close out then open outlook again, then click new mail message it doesnt use word to create/send mail message.
I then go back into tools->options-> mail format tab and "Use microsoft office word 2003 to edit e-mail messages" and "Use microsoft office word 2003 to read rich text e-mail messages" is unticked.

I then tick the two options click apply then okay.  
Create new mail message now opens up word correctly!

Then once I close out of outlook and go back in to create a new mail message it automatically uncheck use microsoft word to edit e-mail messages and have to go back into options-> mail format and tick the options again.

Tried upgraded from office xp (2002) to 2003 ( which force deletes outlook ) and still doesnt work right.
Tried detect and repair and no luck so far.

Any ideas?
