With certain users when they try to access anothers shared calendar they get the Error Message "Unable to display the folder, The Calendar folder could not be found" even after they have been granted access using the 'Delegates' function in Options.
Anyone any ideas ?
Could the target PST's be corrupt/damages etc ?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Are they accessing the other calendar by
going to File>open>other user's folder or
going to Tools>email accounts>change>more settings >advanced tab>add and adding the person's account to their folder list? If one isn't working, try the other to help narrow it down.
for adding the person's account to the folder list, the top level (Outlook Today) permissions tab and the folder permissions tab must both have folder visible and 'reviewer' permissions, respectively. For opening the folder only, just the folder permissions are necessary, which can be done through delegates. However, if the folder you are trying to have them share is in a pst, it will not work. The folder must be in the Exchange store for permissions to work.
To verify whether it is a pst, right click on the folder in question and select properties. If you see and advanced button, then it is a pst and pressing the advanced button will tell you where the pst is located. You could also collapse the "Outlook Today" folder - if you still see the folder in question, it is a pst, since it is not part of the mailbox resources.

pbgormley,
The delegates function does not give rights to the top level. After giving the delegation rights, go to properties on the 'Outlook - Today' object (at the top of the folder list) and grant 'view folder' permissions there.
