sorry, forgot to mention that I am using Outlook 2007. but I figured it out, there is a button down at the bottom of trust center, labled "COM add-ins".

The Add-in "Exchange Scan" (C:\Program Files\Network Associates\VirusScan\scane
update. If no update is available, please uninstall the Add-in.
How do I uninstall this add-in? when I go to the add ins page, I don't see it listed.

Go to Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Addin Manager or COMM/Addins and disable the addins.
If addin is not there, close Outlook. Do a search for and rename extend.dat file. Restart Outlook. This will disable all addins. But you can add the others back.
Extend.dat is located in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Applicatio
