How to set up Outlook Web Access to preserve HTML formatted messages when delivered outside of my domain?
When I send messages from my outlook web access, all the HTML format is lost when the message is delivered to outside of my exchange server domain (gmail account). If I was to send the same message from my local "Microsoft Outlook", HTML format is preserved.
On my local "Microsoft Outlook", I can navigate to Tools -> Options -> Mail Format and set "HTML" in "Compose in this message format" and also check "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages".
I could not locate any such setting in Outlook Web Access to set format for outgoing messages!!

ASKER CERTIFIED SOLUTION

This solution is only available to members.
To access this solution, you must be a member of Experts Exchange.
Click on Options and then click on Messaging and there you can see Message Format and you can select HTML out there (if you are using the OWA version 8.1.278.2).
I am more interested in having exchange server preseve the format while it forwards the incoming mail (due to a server side rule to forward incoming messages as attachments).
Does any one have a clue if this is possible?
