can not print .pdf file
I have one XP pro computer that can not print a .pdf from an attachment. when we go to file > print, it now has a popup box that says "print file name". tried name of the pdf did not work. how do i get the popup to go away?
are you able to print the file if it is saved to the drive first?
if its asking for a filename when printing it sounds like you don't have a printer configurd on the XP machine. Go to START->Settingd->Printers and Faxes and make sure that you have a "real" printer configured and it is the default printer.

Hi looking back at the first suggestion offered>>zephyr_hex:>>>>ar e you able to print the file if it is saved to the drive first<< could you respond to this suggestion.
this woudl determin if its an issue with this PDF as an attachment which is always risky opening directly from an email.
But if saved to the desktop first can you then print it?
could be if the email was forwarded on/ the source was not loaded properly into the email.
