Faulting application outlook.exe and faulting module mscvrt.dll problem

Hello,

One of our users cannot run Outlook 2003 for some reason.
We just deployed two computers with exact same installation of Windows XP SP2 and Microsoft Office 2003 SP3 using Ghost.
One computer runs Outlook 2003 just fine, the other crashes.
Both computers are exactly the same in hardware spec(same CPU, same amount of memory) and level of Security patches for both Windows and Office.

Measures taken:
Restart the computer, still crashes.
Running outlook.exe /safe crashes.
The user is temporarily checking his/her mail through OWA.

Haven't tried:
Ask the user to use a different workstation.
Ask a different user to use the computer with the problem.
Clearing out all the user profiles stored on the workstation.

1. Reset the Outlook toolbar template. With Outlook close, do a search for and rename outcmd.dat file. Do the same for frmcache.dat and outlprnt files. Restart Outlook.

Outcmd.dat is located in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder. It is a hidden file, so you have to unhide hidden files. Go to any folder and select Tools > Folders Options > View. Check "Show hidden files and folders". Click OK.

Works.
Thanks.
BAM-IT, glad that worked for you and now you can open Outlook.
