The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Need to share calendars in Outlook and automate process of multiples posts on multiple calendars

Asked by dezoars in Outlook Groupware Software, Exchange Email Server

Tags: , , , ,

My company uses Exchange Server 2003. Most PCs have Outlook for Office 2003. SOme have Outlook for Office Small Business Edition.

We are trying to get everyone to make better use of Outlook's calendar feature, but Outlook isn't making this easy.

Firstly, I would like everyone to initiate all their appointments on their personal calendar. Next, I would like all employees to be able to see each person's schedule when they schedule meetings with each person. I would like all people to be able to invite the meeting room as a resource so they can see if the meeting room is free at the desired time. Finally, I would like to make it easy for people to copy their appointment on their personal calendar to the meeting calendar, and if it's not a meeting but an outisde appointment or vacation, to the public calendar. It needs to be even easier than holding CTRL and dragging to the other calendar - I'm thinking a button that I could load onto everyone's machine.

I will need to write a really easy-to-understand process for everyone to have any hope that they will use it properly, so too many steps and it's no good. I would consider a third-party application if it will truly solve this problem cheaply.

It seems to me that Outlook should support this kind of use but I've looked through EE solutions already and haven't found a way to do all of these things.
