The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Viewing Other user's Scheduling Details; unable to enable or disable this feature using delegation.

Environment: Exchange 2003 Enterprise Server, Outlook 2003 as client.

I've searched and read the following posts, which explain why when inviting a user to a calendar meeting, one could or could not view the details of their appointment.

One of our users (user1) reported the ability to view the scheduling details of another user's (user2) appointments.  We checked Delegation, as well as the permissions tab on the calendar on user2, and user1 is not listed there at all.   We also checked User2's user object in AD, for any Exchange rights that User1 may have, even through a group. he is not listed there.

I had another user (user3) add me as a delegate with reviewer to her calendar.  I then went to schedule an appointment and invite her. I could NOT see her scheduling details.  I waited 1.5 hours,  i logged off and back on as well in case is was an ACL thing (don't think it was but i'm running out of leads).

What i wanted to do was to be able to give and take away the ability to see the scheduling details, which would help me diagnose why User1 can see User2's details.

Should I wait longer for any changes to register, or does anyone have any insight?

Thanks in advance.Start Free Trial
