The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Sharing an Outlook Calender with an Entourage user

Asked by gazberry in Outlook Groupware Software, Exchange Email Server

Tags: , ,

Hi,

I have serveral users in an office using Entourage on Mac's and 1 user who uses outlook on a PC. Everything is working fine with the exception that the Outlook users calender cannot be shared with an Entourage user. When the Entourage user tries to open the calender he gets the error message "Entourage could not find a mailbox for user ...". (users name removed). I have tried the following to resolve this issue,

-Have tried applying permissions directly in Active Directory as well as through Outlook
-Applied full permissions to the full email accounts in both directions between Entourage User and Outlook User
-Sent a sharing invite from Outlook User to Entourage User, he received it but the link in the email takes you to a Microsoft site saying 'you can't open this shared item, calendar, try the following etc'
-Tried removing Outlook User's alias address as per Microsoft instructions
-Tried using advanced on the 'open another users folder tab' as per Microsoft instructions and entering the full email address
-Tried setting up Outlook User on entourage in the office and sharing it from there
-Tried setting up Entourage User on outlook - He could then open the Outlook Users calendar with no problems however as soon as I went back to Entourage I got the same error.

I have been reading through some of the questions asked on here with regards to this, but haven't found any yet that are useful.

Any help you can provide with this is appreciated and if you know of any existing articles that deal with this issue then please feel free to point me to them.

Thanks

Gareth
