Address Book sync between local contacts and global from exchange

hi,

i'm currently using outlook 2007 with ms-exchange 2007. is there any tools / way to synchronize my local contacts with global address book from exchange? i need to do that so i can synch my pda/smartphone later because my pda/smartphone only synch from local contacts and not global address book.

i can do normal copy, but it will keep on duplicate everytime i copy to update.

Hi DingDang,
Do you have a choice in the Synchronize menu to Download Address book? If so, make sure that you do not download full details, as they will probably take too much space in your PDA. Let me know if this works

it can download address book, but only local address book. what i did before is to copy all Global into Local contact, but the next time i do it, there will be duplication as if outlook don't know which is which, so it just copy all and create new entry instead of overwrite or synchronize it properly.

hmm, I see what you are saying. Without corporate permission to upoad your GAL to the hanheld, it will not work. Check with your Exchange Admin
