Outlook crashing while checking email

One of our users is having problems with Outlook crashing while he's checking email.  He tells me this seems to be occuring most often when opening emails that contain an embedded image.  

Currently, I've run "detect and repair" and reinstalled Office, but the problem persists.

The user is running Windows XP with Office 2003 SP 3 and we recently deployed the Office 2007 conversion pack.
