Archive Outlook 2007

I am running Windows XP SP2 with Office 2007.  I upgraded from Office XP.  My archive PST is located on the H drive.  When I was running Office XP I was able to archive to the H drive since the upgrade I cannot.  I receive the following message Error while archiving folder "Deleted Items" in store "Mailbox - Craig Brown". The file H:\archive.pst cannot be opened.  I receive this message for all my items in Outlook.  If I copy the archive.pst file to my C drive and direct outlook to the pst file on the C drive I can use this file to archive.  I will not work when it is located on the H drive

Is your H: Drive a local hard disk? (FAT or NTFS?)

Did you try placing it under a folder?

Do you have the correct permissions to access, read AND WRITE to the H: drive?

OK, it works if I use the UNC path to the home folder, but not the mapped drive letter path. All other files are accessible via the mapped drive letter. Makes no sense ot me, but it works now.

see if you can ping the name of the machine; if not, then this might be a local firewall setting or WINS configuration issue.

I believe the suggestion given should resolve the problem. He should confirm if it did not work.
