After turning on my HP laptop using Windows XP I try to open MS Outlook 2007. It opens (somewhat) and then freezes. If I open Task Manager I see no applications but it shows two Outlook processes ( one about 10 meg and another 3 meg). If I close these and then try again I get a message that the file was not closed properly and I need to open in safe mode. At this point safe mode will work but regular will not. After I close Outlook and shut down the system I frequently get a message that Outlook is still open and I have to end it. I also get the message that Windowsearch.exe is also still running. I have disabled all of the add-ing in Outlook as several experts-exchange posts said this might be the cause.
