I work with a program that handles ITIL Compliant Change Management. Several of my clients have expressed an interest in automatically creating Outlook Calendar records (mainly so they can use the GANT view for their enterprise changes) automatically based on data contained in the Change record.
The software is capable of sending email, and we can also use third party tools to access data in the software via an ODBC connection.
Ideally, I'd like to send an e-mail to an Outlook address, and then have Outlook convert that e-mail into a Calendar Object and automatically insert it into a shared calendar.
