Mail does not send unless I open Outlook

When I go to a email link on a site, it opens up my Outlook email composer.  After I type my message, I push send.  It disappears.  I figure the message is sent, however days later when I open my email client I find out that it was sitting in my Outlook send box.  Why does this happen and how can I prevent this from happening?Start Free Trial
