I have an issue that MS cust support couldn't solve, so I'm asking here.
Basically, i have a brand new machine running XP Pro SP3 where Outlook 2007 SBE (OEM) is installed (along w/O2K7) .
I imported the emails and contacts from the old machine w/same OS running o2K3 - Outlook2003.
Things seemed to be running smoothly except for 2 things: The calendar did not import correctly replicating entries hundreds of times, so I cleaned it up completely (manually) in a couple of hours.
The problem I can't solve is there is a "reminder" that pops up continously that actually does not exist (bug 1) and cannot be deleted (bug 2).
I try to dismiss it, snooze it, mark it complete, no matter what - I get the same error
"Cannot turn off the reminder. You may be reminded again. Out of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again."
3GB of memory in perfect working order + 700GB drive space : we can rule out resources.
There are no hotfixes or anything for this available, though it could be due to the importing of the Outlook 2003 that caused this mess (although that version was running perfectly).
I am at a loss as the task does not exist anywhere! The /cleanreminders option does nothing at all.
There are no tasks at all and no calendar entries.
This is a fresh install.
I figure someone here knows of a registry tweak or file that can be edited to get rid of this nightmare.
Anyone?
