Populating a combo box in MS Outlook with data from SQL Server

I can't believe this is too hard but there doesn't seem to be much online on this kind of thing!
All I want to do is populate a combo box within a message form in Outlook with data from a SQL database ideally using ADO but I'd consider any method if it does the trick.
Also once a value had been selected from the combo box (does a lost focus event exist within Outlook?) I'd move the value into the the body of the e-mail.
Is it really that difficult?Start Free Trial
