I am getting an error when I try to open an appointment:
"Cannot open this item. The file C:\User\myuser\appdata\loc
al\microso
ft\outlook
\outlook.o
st has reached its maximum size. To reduce the amount of data in this file, select some items that you no longer need, and then permanently delete them bypressing SHIFT+DELETE. You could also consider switching to Unicode mode and using the new offline folder file introduced with Outlook 2003 that provides greater capacity for storing items and folders."
I am using Outlook 2007 on Vista 64-bit Business Edition, and the server is Exchange 2007.
I followed the instructions in this KB article (
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832925), but those registry entries were not present (nor were the keys!) in my system.
How do I supersize my ost file?
