Display Name in Outlook has a number, how to remove?

Asked by olmu in Outlook Groupware Software, Exchange Email Server

Hi together

I'm sure ... simple question for you ...

Environment:
- O2k3 SP3
- Exch2k3 SP2

1.) Open Outlook, New Mail
2.) Insert the loginname / username
3.) Outlook will suggest a recipient (resolved by ad)
==> So far, works fine

But at the next try - Outlook will suggest the corret username with a strange number at the end;
Example: <trob 981231>
Look at the picture ...

Question;
How can i remove this number?
All other users would be displayed correctly.

I've search in AD, ADSI Userobject, Exchange Server ... no success ...

Thanks in advance ...
Best regards,
