The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Outlook connector no longer works. Sudden failure to collect email.

I have used Outlook Connector for over 12 months (IN NON-SERVER ENVIRONMENT) to collect hotmail. About 3 weeks ago I just stopped picking up anything. About one week later (hotmail is not my most used email) I investigated and tried the following remedies: 1. Logging in on webmail: Result: all emails were sitting there. 2. Uninstalling Connector and installing the new Beta version: Result: No change. 3. Uninstalling the new beta and reverting to older version: Result: No change. 4. ContactING MS support at this link:

Question 5: Im not running the Beta, but sync stopped working shortly after the Beta released.
Coincidentally, an upgrade in our server environment caused some unforeseen sync problems for the non-Beta Outlook Live Connector. You can resolve the non-Beta sync problem by either upgrading to the Beta, or trying again in a few days when the server side issues are resolved, requiring no action on your part.

Am I the only person in the Western hemisphere unable to use Outlook Connector for 3 weeks? Or is there an expert who can resolve this one?Start Free Trial
