Convert emails in text format to html in Outlook 2007

Hi Everyone,

A customer using Outlook 2007 has problems with all his emails displaying in text format instead of html. This has occurred since he has installed IE8. Previously all links were displayed as images. Is there any way to convert all the emails to html and enable images to be displayed in all emails instead of links.

See if read all standard email in plain text is checked ... uncheck if it is.

Stepping away from IE8 for a moment do they have any rules or macros that run on receiived mail items?

Hi Chris,

The incoming emails are sorted into folders. Other than that nothing else. He's been using Outlook 2007 for well over a year and emails have displayed correctly until recently.

I found a partial solution.  All new emails are now in html format but the old emails remain in text format. I'm not sure which solution actually fixed the problem, but the customer is happy.
