Outlook 2007 synchronization log error, provides link for Outlook 2000 issue?
I have one user that for some reason keeps experiencing intermittant errors when using Outlook 2007 connected to our Exchange 2007 server. It's not a serious problem but keeps occuring and makes me wonder what is wrong. Basically, the user will get a synchronization log error that looks like the following:
14:38:22 Synchronizer Version 12.0.6423
14:38:22 Synchronizing Mailbox "user"
14:38:22 Synchronizing local changes in folder 'Inbox'
14:38:22 Uploading to server 'xxxx.xxx.local'
14:38:22 Error synchronizing message 'messagesubject'
14:38:22 [80040119-20010C01-0-1390]
14:38:22 Microsoft Office Outlook Offline Folders

14:38:22 Moved a message that failed synchronization to 'Local Failures'. Message subject -> "messagesubject". You can view this message in your offline folder file only.
14:38:22 1 item(s) changed read-state in online folder
14:38:22 Done
The link provided however goes to a page talking about Outlook 2000. Any idea what could be causing this error and how to fix?

It sounds like it could be mailbox corruption. Would it be a serious issue to backup, wipe and recreate the mailbox? I appreciate that this is somewhat extreme and could cause issues with more sensitive users.

So you're saying I should export his mailbox into a PST, remove the mailbox completely from the Exchange server, then create a new mailbox and import the PST?
