Actually, I discovered it was a jacked up PST file for a POP3 account I had my Outlook AND an add-in that was giving outlook a headache. I've since removed the corrupt PST file (didn't need) and disabled the add-in, and now my outlook works as intended (not crashing). Thank you though.

Have you tried reconfiguring the outlook profile, it may happen if the outlook profile is corrupted.
