outlook keeps asking for Network password

Periodically Outlook pops up the NETWORK SIGN ON FOR MY pop3 ISP ACCOUNT. I am wired directly via cable modem and have auto sign on to my email account. Why is outlook doing this?

I have attached a screen shot of the message.

Do you have "Remember Password" checked on in the Outlook account settings for that email account?

Hi, try reconfiguring outlook profile or the login profile and have a check. If the pc is on domain it might happen to password expiry too.

iEach time it pops up, I check "remember the password".  As I stated in my original question, this happends about 2x a year ever since I can remember and them it goes away I will try to update the P/W ans see where that takes me..

Did you try reconfiguring the profile or the outlook profile?

i contacted comcast and they walked me through changing the IN & Outbound ports and checking off the "SSL" boxes in Outlooks setup menu.

I will monitor this closely for the next day or so and see if this resolves the matter and get back to you folks.
