Problem with "ask to update values" in Excel 2007

Asked by hawkeye_zzz in Outlook Groupware Software, Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Software

I have set the Trust settings  to:
"Prompt user for automatic updates to workbook links"
But it doesn't prompt, it just updates the links on the newly opened file.  
Is there another setting overiding it?
