I am running Office 2007 on Windows 7. Last week after some windows updates, I now get this error and of course my Office Outlook won't open.
The exact error is;
The file ExSec32.dll is incompatible with Micrsoft Office
I also now get;
there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request.

I was able to finally resolve my problem. I uninstalled Office 2007, restarted and reinstalled it. That still did not resolve the issue so I removed Office 2007 again, restarted and then went into the Program Files and deleted the Office12 folder which had a bunch of files and directories. Ran RegSeeker and did a clean, restarted the PC and reinstalled again and that got the problem resolved.
