Question
Long Delays opening Word and Excel from Outlook
Hello Experts,
t takes a long time to bring up a MS word or excel doc from outlook.
I am running Outlook 2007. This is a brand new Dell 3400 laptop. It takes a
long time average 3+ minutes to bring (double clicks) up an excel or word
attachment doc.
Please advise as soon as possible what i can do to fix this.

Open Outlook in safemode, Start - Run - type in Outlook.exe /safe. Then double click on the doucment and see if it still takes forever for it to open. If it doesn't then it may be an addin that is causing this.
