How do i Disable the Menu File / Open / other's user folder and Calendar on Outlook 2007 using Template GPO ?

Hi,

I need the command ID'S for disabling Menu File / Open / other's user folder and Calendar on Outlook 2007. I'm using GPO with outlook 2007 template and windows server 2003.

I already download 2007 Office System Document: Lists of Control IDs ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4329d9e9-4d11-46a5-898d-23e4f331e9ae&displaylang=en ), but cant find the command ID's for this 2 menus.

I only need this two, not the entire list.

Hi Filipe,
which ver of Exchange Server? Were you able to set this previously? i do not believe it is possible, nor is it advisable. Can you tell me the reason you would want this feature disabled?

Hi,

I have exchange server 2007 installed. I can disable some menus from microsoft outlook using outlook 2007 template ( with GPO ), but for the menu File / Open / other's user folder and File / Open / Calendar i don't have any option, only with a "custom command ID".

Microsoft give us a list of command ID'S that can be use to customize outlook, só it's strange that can't be done.

Hi,

I already have some outlook 2007 predifined menus disable as you can see in the template.

To disable nopredifined menus we have to use the custom configuration and enter ther custom bar id regarding the menu or shortcut we wan't to disable.

Microsoft give us a list of ID'S to use. ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4329d9e9-4d11-46a5-898d-23e4f331e9ae&displaylang=en ), but i can't see the ID'S regarding other's user folder and Calendar menu.
