MSoutlook 2007 Calendar sync issue

MSoutlook 2007 Calendar sync issue
When I send an invitation in MSoutlook 2007 then the invitation got accepted and returned to me and when I try to open it it will give me the following error:
<<Cannot update the appointment because the corresponding item in the folder you synchronized does not match this item. To resolve the conflict, open the item. Do you want to open the item now?>>

Any idea on ho wto fix this?

What are you syncing it with?

I believe what they're pointing out is that it is unable to sync with Exchange. I see the same issue when there is a delegate of another user's calendar and the delegate attempts to open the invite.
