try Start->run..then type the following -> Outlook.exe /resetnavpane

I am experiencing an issue with one user. They are recieving the error below when trying to open outlook.
"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set folders could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists."
We have tried the following:
1. Run outlook in Safe Mode.
2. User is able to access their mailbox via OWA
3. Recreated profile on users PC
4. Recreated the users mailbox profile on my own PC
What else could I try?

By chance, did you recently upgrade to IE8 from IE7? I have had several machines running outlook go crazy like this after the upgrade. If you did, try uninstalling version 8. By uninstalling IE8, it will take you right back to IE7 automatically.
