When all workstations were upgraded to Outlook 2007 our public calendar's category colors and descriptions changed to random colors and descriptions on all workstations. I am the owner of the calendar, but cannot change the categories for this calendar since the option is greyed out in Oulook 2007. Can the colors for all users be set by the owner in 2007? I have done a little research with most pointing at manually changing the category colors on all workstations. I did not have to do this in Outlook 2003 any ideas why?

Hi, KeepURDogGoing.
"Can the colors for all users be set by the owner in 2007?"
No. Colors are strictly personal.
"I did not have to do this in Outlook 2003 any ideas why?"
Yes. Outlook 2003 had categories and colored flags. There was no realtionship between the two. The author of an item could set both. Outlook 2007 eliminated flags by integrating colors with categories. Although the category is set by the owner he/she cannot enforce the color associated with that category name.
