Browse All TopicsI have a PC in a 2003 SBS domain. The person that logs in has a 4GB PST opening over a 10/100 network from a Network Share (O: drive).
I turned on Auto Archiving and save the archive on the local C:. The Archive seems to go, but then stops after awhile (hard to say for how long). The archieve is about 400MB in size right now, but I noticed the 4GB PST is still the same size. Emails older than 6 months are supposed to be added to the archive. However, emails older than 6 months still remain. I am aware that the Archive looks at the modified date of each email, but even using that date, there remain many emails in folders that should be moved to the archive.
I have repaired and fixed any issues within the PST (using Scanpst.exe). The system is running XP Pro with Office 2007 SP2.
Does anyone have any possible suggestions (other than switching to Exchange/OST)?
Thank you

After archiving, you need to compress pst file. On exchange it is done automaticly every night.
To be shure of autoarchive add additional column - modified date.
