We are having an issue with a GroupWise rule that I would appreciate some assistance with.
The problem has occurred since we have removed TFS from our e-mail chain and have started to send/receive e-mail through the GWIA.
We have a rule for all our users that automatically forwards their OUTGOING Internet e-mail to a central account. The rule acts on e-mails with *@* in the "To" field, thus capturing OUTGOING internet e-mail traffic. However, since we removed TFS and implemented the above change, this rule no longer works if the "To" e-mail address is in the user's Address book, since the "To" field will be populated by an Alias rather than the fully-qualified e-mail address containing the @ symbol.
This is potentially very damaging for us as we need to keep a copy of every outgoing internet e-mail in another centralised account.
We have been able to combat this issue with INCOMING e-mail by using the "View Name" property as this is stamped with 'internet' for INCOMING e-mail. However, so far we have been unable to get anything similar to work for OUTGOING e-mails.
I would be very grateful for any assistance with this issue.
