Sharing an excel file in Lotus Notes
I would like to share an excel document through Lotus Notes. How can I accomplish that with varying levels of access?. I'm kind of new to Lotus Notes. Thank you in advance
What do you mean exactly with "share"? And in which database? You could create and use a documents database, and there is also an Office documents database template. Is that the idea?

Thank you for the response. Yes that is what I mean, the Office documents template. The idea is to create a document that has an excel file that can be made only readable. If I could get pushed in the right direction on creating this office documents database, I believe I could go from there.

Thank you very much. I was about to say wow that's easy, but I'd rather say it was experience :). Thanks again.

Set it up, do some tests, and by all means try the workflow with some reviewers. It works remarkably well for such a simple application (on the outside). You can specify per document who have access rights, who are reviewers, etc. See also the About this database, and Using this database menu options, under Help..
